Ali Rguigue is a producer and the founder of Artcoustic Studios (2011) , a Moroccan studio specialising in animation filmmaking with a focus on 2D. He has built a catalogue of original works such as Les Marocains du Ciel, Tourat and Ghriba, broadcast on TV5MONDE and national channels.

He is now developing several projects in international co-production: Harun & Mamun, his first stop-motion short directed by Jihane Joypaul; the feature Ziryab: Les Cordes du Temps, presented this year and directed by Ghita Amrati; and Malik, a 3D feature directed by Khalid Nait Zlay. He also co-founded Flow Motion School, Morocco's first animation school, launched the Atlas Next Frame Festival, the country's first student animation festival, chairs the Animation, Digital Arts & Gaming division at FICC/CGEM, and sits on the 2026 Cannes Lions Film Craft jury.

With over 16 years of experience, Khalid Nait Zlay has built his career across the video-game and visual-effects industries, collaborating with world-renowned studios such as Electronic Arts, Gameloft, Ubisoft, 2K, Bandai Namco and MPC.

His expertise spans art direction to real-time rendering technologies, which he sees as a revolution for animated cinema.

Today he takes a decisive step by directing his first feature, Malik. It is also the first project of the animation studio he co-founds with producer Ali Rguigue.

Drawing on his experience, Khalid surrounds himself with a team blending young local talent and seasoned experts, including Moroccan professionals who have already worked on international productions.
